Some shops sell groceries. SG General Store is one of them — and proudly so. The bags are still weighed by hand, the shelves are still restocked every week, and the face behind the counter still knows your monthly list before you finish reading it.

Since 1965, the store has served the families of Purani Dana Mandi and the lanes around Tarn Taran. New packets arrive on the shelf, brands come and go, but the routine has never changed: fresh stock, honest weight, fair rate, and a familiar hello.
